Ausmelt has lead and contributed to studies for most of the world's major mining houses.

Ausmelt can carry out a range of studies from a desktop level through to bankable feasibility. Typically a description of the metallurgical process, development of the intended plant layout, preliminary engineering documentation, and an estimate of capital and operating costs within a specified range will be provided.

The degree of accuracy of a study can be varied to match the needs of a client and what is appropriate for the stage of project development. A pre-feasibility study can be carried out at lower cost to provide a preliminary indication of project configuration and cost. Alternatively, a bankable feasibility study can be carried out and used to secure project approval and finance.
