AMML is a new minerals testing laboratory, specialising in flotation testing, hydrometallurgy, gravity and comminution testwork. While the laboratory and the equipment is new, the business has a wealth of experience, through its General Manager, Graeme Sheldon, and senior metallurgists and technicians.
Graeme has 35 years of experience in minerals processing testing, including plant and laboratory experience, throughout the world. He has been involved in testwork at the worlds biggest mines in Chile, Peru, African countries, Australia, and Asia.
The laboratory is providing a commercial service to exploration and mining companies, throughout Australia and the world. Testwork includes trouble shooting for existing operations, development of processes for treating new ore bodies, or providing data for bankable feasibility studies. The laboratory staff have extensive experience including mine site operational experience. The laboratory specialises in:
- base metal oxide and sulphide mineral flotation
- gold, silver and PGM ores
- acid leaching
- cyanide leaching
- heap leaching and agglomeration
- gravity
- Bond WI grinding tests
- crushing, grinding and all sample preparation
- design of testing programs and free quotations
- formal reporting and progress reporting
